Nefeli Apartments | The building

Nefeli consists of six apartments in two floors (1st and 2nd). The 1st floor has Natural Luxury Room with Sea View (30 sqm), Natural Luxury Room with Street View (50 sqm) and Natural Luxury Room with Mountain View (50 sqm). The 2nd floor has Natural Luxury Room with Sea View (30 sqm), Large Natural Luxury Room with Sea View (50 sqm) and Natural Luxury Room with Mountain View (50 sqm). The building is located in the seaside of the cosmopolitan village of Agia Effimia in Kefalonia island and is surrounded by mountains and sea.

These recently build apartments are tastefully decorated and furnished. They are spacious, modern, well equipped and designed to make you feel like home. Please note that the photos shown below are from the apartments of the second floor.

Each apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen.

The 50 sqm rooms can host up to four guests, while the 30 sqm up to two guests.

The 50 sqm room consists of two airy rooms, a bedroom with one double bed (160x200cm) and the living room with a sofa transformed into two beds (80x200cm) or two separate chaise lounges/ single beds (80x200cm) and the kitchenette.

The 30 sqm consists of a double bed and the kitchenette.

Cots

Children up to and including 1 year old stay for free when using an available cot.

Extra beds

Children up to and including 4 years old stay for free when using an available extra bed.
People 5+ years old and over stay for EUR 20.00 per person per night when using an available extra bed.

All apartments have private balconies where you can enjoy relaxing moments and the scenic view. Wifi internet, smart TV, and A/C are included.

The beach is only 50 meters away with excellent taverns at the seafront.

The Village | Agia Effimia

Agia Effimia is a beautiful seaside village which is considered a gateway to the northern part of the island, where Assos (14 km) and Fiscardo (29 km) are located. In the picturesque harbor you could see many sailboats, since there is a marina that can offer facilities in nearly 70 yachts.

The area of Agia Effimia belongs to the Natura 2000 program and hiking trails have been created where you can explore the beauties of the villages Drakopoulata (3km), Vassilopoulata (4km) and Makriotika (5km), located on the slopes of Agia Dynati.
If you like scuba diving or would like to try as a beginner, there is a Diving School in Agia Effimia (Aquatic Scuba Diving). The school often organizes diving trips.

At the village there are several mini markets, two super markets, a post office, a pharmacy and at Sami (9km) there is a Health Center.

The Beaches near Agia Effimia

On the way to Sami (9km), you will have hills on the right hand side and small bays with picturesque beaches on the left hand side. You can swim almost alone, as if you had your own private beach. The beach of Agia Paraskevi (4km) is a small and beautiful beach, with white sand and natural shade. The beach of Horgota (20km) has crystal clear waters, which is ideal to explore the seafloor with a mask. It might look familiar, especially the wooden pier, since some of the scenes from Captain Corelli's Mandolin have been filmed there.

One of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean, Myrtos, is close to Agia Effimia (6km). Each year it is awarded a blue flag and is voted as one of the best beaches in the world. Her beauty is within her colors. The white pebbles, the green landscape and the water with a shade of turquoise. You can enjoy the view from above. When you are near her, just let yourself in her beauty!
